On August 29, earlier this year, 100 Thieves became the fifth ever North American team to win a LCS Championship. In the final match, they defeated Team Liquid in a best-of-five series, winning three games in a row. This was the first time in eight years of the LCS that a team outside of the big four (Cloud9, TSM, Team Liquid, and CLG) has won a championship.

Due to their victory, 100 Thieves will start in round two of the upper bracket in the World Championship. To get all their fans hyped up for the big event, they’ve put together a hype video with music from Lil Nas X.

The video features a unique compilation of Lil Nas X’s hits, THAT’S WHAT I WANT and INDUSTRY BABY. 100 Thieves has history with Lil Nas X, as they would specifically listen to INDUSTRY BABY before their matches began. This is what led them to the decision to reach out to Lil Nas X about putting together this video in the first place.

The video features 100 Thieves Founder and CEO/former Pro Gamer—Matt “Nadeshot” Haag, Queen of YouTube/100 Thieves Co-Owner—Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter, 100 Thieves Co-Owner/streamer—Jack “CouRage” Dunlop, and the 100 Thieves LCS Esports Team.

In other League of Legends news, the animated series, Arcane, will be premiering on November 6 this year.
